Due to expansion and establishment of two major departments – the genetics centre and the bank of genetic material, Ava Riga
clinic has changed its name to iVF Riga
effective 22 July 2014. With the introduction of the new brand – iVF Riga
, Ava Riga
will preserve the whole experience, which has been a basis for the previous activities of the clinic, and supplement it with new knowledge and capabilities. Our clinic is rapidly expanding and growing. We are proud and pleased to notify you that we are opening two new and unique departments:
- A genetics centre, which offers consultations by a geneticist and provides testing of embryos using Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) with the aCGH method. This technique makes it possible to identify potential health problems of the child before transferring the embryo to the uterine cavity during the IVF cycle.
- Official bank of genetic material (sperm, oocytes and embryos), which is the only one of its kind in the European countries. The bank will be used for storing the reproductive cells of both patients and donors.
All contracts and agreements signed with Ava Riga
clinic will remain in force after the change of the name to iVF Riga
. The clinic headed by Dr. Violeta Fodina
will stay at its current location at 1 Zaļā Street
in the quiet area of Riga city center. Due to expansion of the clinic, its team has grown to include some of the most experienced experts in the field of medicine, genetics and embryology. Having gained success in infertility treatment, we are constantly continuing to develop and expand, laying emphasis on the quality of services.
